​In building Alchemy, we had to cover a huge breadth of possible topics with a small team.  This led us to create a very different organizational structure from a traditional VC.  We staff project-specific roles from a virtual network of senior business and technology experts.  This keeps the central office small, gives us access to senior people who are not otherwise available, and keeps us open to the broadest possible set of opportunities.
